Pursuant to the authority of Iowa Code section 262.9(3), the Board of Regents hereby amends Chapter 1, "Admission Rules Common to the Three State Universities," Iowa Administrative Code.

This amendment revises rule 681—1.7(262) to permit the University of Iowa to establish a new $250 application fee for the Iowa dental advanced standing program (international DDS student).

Notice of Intended Action was published in the November 23, 2016, Iowa Administrative Bulletin as ARC 2818C. A comment period was established. No public comments were received. This amendment is identical to that published under Notice of Intended Action.

The Board of Regents adopted this amendment on February 23, 2017.

A waiver provision is not included. The Board has adopted a uniform waiver rule, which may be found at 681—19.18(17A).

After analysis and review of this rule making, no impact on jobs has been found.

This amendment is intended to implement Iowa Code section 262.9(3).

This amendment will become effective on April 19, 2017.

The following amendment is adopted.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 262.9(3).
